Facebook fact checkers; checkmate
So Meta ceo ( Facebook, Instagram) Mark Zuckerberg has announced to, at least in the U.S., kick his Factcheckers out, “for being too politically biased,” and to replace them with the system of “community notes,” used by X, where users of the platform themselves can comment on the (in)correctness of posts. For the EU and the UK, there are no plans as yet, according tothe man who first claimed in front a U.S. Senate committee with a straight face (in his defense; that's how he always looks, namely emotionless) that he was not suppressing free speech on Facebook, now announces that he will no longer suppress free speech on Facebook. The fact that Donald Trump very loshoutedudly 'BOO! ' against Zuckerberg,with Elon Musk at his side, no doubt has to do with Zuckerberg's turn and the timing of the announcement, , Barely two weeks before Trump's inauguration as president.
